We face this challenge together, and we are doing all that we can at Medtronic to support the medical professionals we have worked with for decades to care for the COVID-19 patients who need our help. At Medtronic we are:

  • Reallocating our people to critical product manufacturing
  • Increaseing our overall production for COVID-19-related product
  • Deprioriting or postponing non-critical business activities, including training and education and clinical trials that do not support or that may interfere with COVID-19 operations

  • We’ve developed a low-cost, limited-release emergency response bed to quickly aid healthcare providers with efficient care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • The Emergency Relief Bed is intended to serve those on the front lines — ranging from hospital emergency departments to triage and pop-up sites of care. We anticipate production of 10,000 beds a week to meet increased needs.
  • We’re exploring the viability of decontaminating N95 respirator masks for emergency use in healthcare settings through our expertise in sustainable solutions.

Genentech is actively responding to the global COVID-19 pandemic. We are continuing to evolve our services to provide greater flexibility and enable continuity of care during this challenging time. These include:

  • Extending the supply of self-administered medicines for Genentech Patient Foundation patients
  • Expanding Our Genentech Patient Foundation eligibility criteria to include ex-US patients staying in teh US due to travel restrictions
