Optimizing the Management of SMA

Sign up to secure your place at an Expert Masterclass on SMA

We invite you to join us at one of our Expert Masterclasses on spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). These free, ACCME-accredited masterclasses are being held at three different locations in the USA. This is your chance to register!

The main topics covered will be multidisciplinary management of SMA, early diagnosis, local implementation of care guidelines, intrathecal drug administration, and the care of patients with advanced or later-onset SMA.

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of pediatric and adult neurologists, neuromuscular disease specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in SMA.

The 5-hour Expert Masterclass will involve:

  • An introductory keynote lecture by a leading SMA specialist
  • Discussion of real-life patient cases
  • Interactive sessions to help translate learning points into practical steps that could benefit your clinical practice

The Expert Masterclasses are jointly organized by Lippincott CME Institute and Ology Medical Education.  The first Masterclass was moderated by Dr Richard Finkel and was held in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, December 15, 2018. The second was moderated by Dr Julie Parsons and was held in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, March 2, 2019. The third was moderated by Dr Claudia Chiriboga and was held in New York on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Space is very limited – only 20 places are available at each of the three masterclasses – so please sign up soon if you are interested.
